Hi again,

What a continent we live on, and what unprecedented weather we have been experiencing lately.

Sadleirs Pharmacy is acting as a local drop off point for clean linen (sheets, pillow cases, bath towels and hand towels) which will then be distributed by Rotary in the Central Queensland area.

On a brighter note, we have two new additions to our team.

Craig Menegon, who recently graduated as a pharmacist from James Cook University is doing his twelve months internship with us.

Renee Digger has just completed grade 12 at Ingham State High School and has joined us to offer more "Personal Service ---- Professional Care."

Have a happy and a healthy 2011 !!!

Regards,

Jim.

Hi again,

For those of you who haven't seen one, we have been offering a fantastic service for some time now, called Websterpak.

Websterpak is a medicine re-packaging system.  We can re-package your medicines into one handy blister pack, customised to your needs.  This makes is so much easier to remember your medicines at the right time.  It's safe, convenient, and not expensive at all.

Each week, just drop by and pick up the next blister pack.  When your prescriptions are due, we will fill them automatically as they are needed.

Drop in and talk to us to see a demonstration.

Regards,

Jim.

Hi again,

January was a bitter / sweet month for us in terms of staff.

On the one hand Erica, our pharmacist, left us. She got married late last year and has now followed her husband to Townsville. Her ever present smile and bubbly personality will certainly be missed. It was a joy to have her with us for almost two years and her professional knowledge was fantastic.

The positive counter balance is that Chris Holland has finished his internship and is now a registered pharmacist. Chris has been with us for twelve months already and so he is ready to step into Erica's shoes and look after the running of the dispensary, with me as his side kick.

There has been another new face in the dispensary of late. Liam Busuttin, son and 4th year pharmacy student, has been on staff gaining valuable practical experience during university holidays.

Regards,

Jim.

Hi again,

Christmas is approaching fast.

That fact was obvious last Sunday when we held our staff cjristmas party. This time of year gets so busy that it is hard to find a date to suit everyone .....  but we did.

It was a pleasant day and "Secret Santa" was made to work hard.

Regards,

Jim.
